That the Board receive and approve the consent items as distributed.

That the minutes of the September 3, 2020 meeting be adopted as printed.

a. That the Board approve the purchase of tickets to attend the Liberty for Youth Annual Power of a Changed Life Fundraising Gala & Silent Auction taking place virtually on November 4, 2020 from 7 – 8pm at a cost of $25 per person, to be paid from the auction account, and;

b. That the Board approve a financial donation to support an adapted version of the 6th Annual Gala Dinner to provide gift bags with hygiene and other items, as well as a special meal the first day of their opening at a new location, to benefit Wesley Community Homes in the amount of $200 to be paid from the auction account.

That Board Members be approved to attend the upcoming 2020 Canadian Association of Police Governance Virtual Conference and Annual General Meeting.

That the Hamilton Police Services Board approves a 5% increase to the administrative fees of voluntary paid duty contracts to account for cost recovery; and

That the Hamilton Police Services Board enacts By-law 20-001 to approve the addition of Schedule 'E', attached hereto, to amend By-law 11-001, being a By-law to impose fees and charges for services provided by the Board.

That the Board authorize staff to go above complement to immediately recruit an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist to support the Service’s Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, and;

That the Board direct the Service to bring recommendations during the 2021 budget process for the long term funding of the Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Specialist position.

That the Board extend the current Business Plan by one year.

That the Board approve the following amended meeting schedule which provides for regular public meetings of the Hamilton Police Services Board for the year 2021:
