Recommendation:  Be received

 

(b)        2011 alPHa Annual Conference

 

Recommendation:  That the Board of Health send one to two Board representatives to the 2011 alPHa Conference.

 

(c)        Letter from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care respecting one-time funding of $234,254 for the City of Hamilton, Public Health Services for the period ending March 31, 2012 to support local initiatives aimed at preventing and controlling bed bug infestations

 

Recommendation:  That the Medical Officer of Health be authorized and directed to receive, utilize and report on the use of these funds to support local initiatives aimed at preventing and controlling bed bug infestations.

 

(d)       Letter from Leeds, Greenville and Lanark District Health Unit respecting increased funding for preschool speech and language program

 

Recommendation:  Be received

 

(e)        Letterfrom the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health Unit respecting HPV publiclyfunded vaccine – grade 8 eligibility
