Correspondence from LANDx Developments Ltd. respecting 393 Rymal Road West, Hamilton and 2020 Planning Application Fees for the Redevelopment of the St. Elizabeth Village

Recommendation: Be received and referred to the General Manager of Planning and Economic Development for appropriate action.

4.2

Correspondence from the Town of Midland to the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada requesting Direct Payment of Federal Funds to Municipalities to Waive Property Taxes for the Year 2020 - 

Financial help to alleviate the suffering from COVID-19 Pandemic.

Recommendation: Be received.

Correspondence from the Honourable Steve Clark, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing in response to requests from municipalities and AMO for the government to introduce legislation for the suspension of specific timelines associated with land use

planning matters that could be applied retroactively to the date that an emergency was declared.

Pursuant to Section 8.1, Sub-sections ((b) and (d) of the City's Procedural By-law 18-270, as amended, and Section 239(2) Sub-sections (b) and (d) of the Ontario Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, as the subject matter pertains to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including City employees and labour relations or employee negotiations.
